[Tallahassee, Fla] Tallahassee’s own One Fresh Pillow, originators of the pillow subscription business model, will reach a new milestone, debuting on the global shopping giant, QCV. Their signature pillow will appear on QVC’s main network in a 7-minute segment, airing on Thursday, May 7, in the 11am – 1 pm EST time slot.
QVC contracted with One Fresh Pillow to offer 1,640 of their standard-size signature pillows on their main network during a Spring Home Update segment with host Antonella Nester. Their QVC debut marks the first time the pillow will be offered for sale outside of the company’s online retail site.
Initial plans were for Adrianne to be the on-air guest during the 7-minute segment. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Adrianne’s in-person training session scheduled for March was canceled last-minute and moved online. Then her on-air appearance was scrapped entirely. A last-minute video sent to QVC convinced the network that Adrianne had the presence to still be on air. Instead of being live in the QVC studio, QVC has asked Adrianne to appear from the couple’s bedroom via Skype. She joked on the company’s Twitter account about the setting: “Pros of broadcasting from our bedroom? The low lighting will hide my roots!”
Known for offering “quality, value, convenience,” QVC will be selling the company’s signature pillow for an unprecedented price. To do business with QVC, One Fresh Pillow had to offer the pillow at a price that “is absolutely lower than anything we would ever offer on our site” according to Aaron. It is a risk they are willing to take, largely because of the credibility and recognition offered to the company by being featured on QVC. “If you’ve been waiting to buy our pillow, NOW is the time!” Aaron emphasizes.
Since their inception in 2016, One Fresh Pillow has offered their signature, patent-pending pillow exclusively online. Designed by local massage therapist Aaron Kautz and his wife Adrianne Kautz, the pillow features two complementary fills – one side supporting side-sleeping and the other supporting back-sleeping. Their offering has expanded to include king size pillows, 600-thread-count pillow cases, sleep masks, travel pillows, and a locally sourced lavender sleep spray. They continue to offer the world’s first pillow subscription service, offering customers 15% off on regularly-shipped subscription orders.
